After a year of quarantine, many of us hadn’t ventured out to see their friends and family. So, when folks finally got vaccinated and the restrictions lifted, AAA was in the perfect position to reunite a family via road trip. In this longform piece, we follow a brother and sister on a road trip across the country as they set out to meet in the middle and reconnect.
How It Came To Life
Divide and conquer was the name of the game on this unconventional project. Camera crews split to LA and Atlanta and followed the siblings on a road trip to meet in Denver, CO. Along the way, we captured sound and film bytes to bring the story to life in an emotional story of isolation during quarantine. And after three days on the road, our production department met in a cabin just outside of Denver to film the reunion. The scene was magical as snow fell down lightly over the siblings and friends, the perfect ending to a heartfelt journey.
